1. a new word, usage, or expression
2. a meaningless word coined by a psychotic
I first encountered the second definition of this word in Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary, 10th Edition. I think it's perfect for this page, since I agree that there are both good and bad neologisms: two sides to the coin, as it were.
neologophile n.
1. someone who loves neologisms
I consider myself a neologophile, for the most part. Anything that implies evolution (you know, change) can't be all bad. The special beauty of this word is that neologophile is itself a neologism. I chose this for my domain name because it fit my list of criteria pretty well. Not only is it a word with no more than a few hits on Google, but it's also pretty clever and a little pretentious. Click the penny, for my thoughts.
